What is the Awaken Internship Program?
The Awaken Internship Program is a ministry of Calvary Church uniquely designed to be a 9-week experience for individuals ages, 18 to 25. This program is for those who desire to be educated in the gospel of grace, equipped in local church ministry, + develop healthy and impactful leadership skills to live out all they’ve been created for with maturity + longevity.

How much does the Internship cost?
Each semester costs $750. This includes: 9-weeks of hands-on ministry training, grace based counseling, Awaken Internship T-shirt + Welcome box, Gospel Institute courses, host home housing for Interns that live outside of the Metroplex + part time job opportunities during Internship duration.

Through the Awaken Internship Program, we’re committed to educating + equipping you with the same tools, knowledge, + resources that we use to empower our various Calvary locations as well as Gospel Circle of Churches + Ministries (GCCM), our network of churches. Our relevant approach to Biblical education partnered with local church work training is designed to prepare you to make an impact in the Kingdom of God, through your unique ministry calling. With hands on training in the everyday responsibilities of the local church, accompanied by gospel centered courses from our Gospel Institute, taught by the most well versed instructors of the New Covenant today, it is our goal to help you develop your gifts, equip you with biblical knowledge + understanding, provide affordable tuition, + help you awaken to your true identity + purpose in Christ!

At Calvary Church, we have a high priority to care for and protect the young adults who come into our care. We make every effort to provide an environment of safety and support for our children and young people. Calvary Church has a comprehensive children protection policy in place and we also work closely with government agencies in regards to background checks. (All Calvary Church workers must go through a background check in order to work with our children/youth.)
